Sankara Eye Foundation (SEF), USA, founded in 1998 strives hard to eradicate curable blindness in India. The project aim was to help Sankara build four new hospitals in Indore (built in 2020), Mumbai (2021), Bihar(upcoming) and Hyderabad (upcoming).
To help Sankara Eye Foundation cure many more people with visual impairments by donating towards building more hospitals
Those in the rural areas of India who are unable to afford eye care and surgery, as Sankara provides quality eye care free of cost.
Achievement of Goals: Two hospitals have been built and the other two are underway.
Funding raised for the Project: $2000 total ($1000 raised + $1000 matched by Johnson and Johnson Caring Crowd Platform)
